Court of Honor and Camp Alaska
Recently held by Troop 87 was the Court of Honor. The Court of Honor, as many of you know, is when the scouts get all of their rank advancements, merit badges, and any other awards they have earned since the last Court of Honor. There were many rank advancements and merit badges, and many people got their “below zero” patch from Camp Alaska.
Also held in Troop 87 a while ago, was Camp Alaska. This campout happens every year and involves much training and hard work. It was a success. Many people got their below zero patch. This patch is awarded to all those scouts who go to Camp Alaska and stay there overnight and the temperature drops below zero. This doesn’t happen very often. Both of these events were, as usual, a great success.
