SCRIBE TALKIN’ by KEVIN B:
Recently was a traditional campout, the cub-scout campout. This campout was two Saturdays ago on the 1-2 of November. This campout is a chance for cub-scouts to get a perspective of what scouting will be like for them. There were many activities such as, bottle rockets; there were other scout skills, a hike, and dinner.
After dinner all the scouts got to go trick or treating at all the different cabins. Sunday morning everyone had to get up and clean up before they were allowed to leave. There wasn’t much to take down other than the dining flies because the scouts slept in cabins instead of tents. Most everyone that went seemed to have a great time including the cub-scouts. Lots of people showed up and lots sounded interested in scouting. Hopefully next year we can have as much success as we did last year. I hope to see the cub-scouts crossover and become a boy scout.
